Cookie policy

The use of cookies and similar trackers is governed by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and by the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). No tracker that is not strictly necessary is set before the visitor makes an explicit choice.

Authentication session cookies that keep you signed in to the member area, language preference, and an invitation cookie that keeps the code of an invitation link for fourteen days while you create your account. Your choice about measurement cookies is also saved in your browser (local storage), so you are not asked again on every page. These are exempt from consent: without them, signing in, displaying the right language, using an invitation and respecting your choice would be impossible.

Two measurement tools may be used: the Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram), to learn which ads actually bring students to sign up or buy, and Google Analytics, for audience measurement. Their scripts, and the cookies they set, are loaded only after you click “Accept”: as long as no choice is made, or after a refusal, none of these scripts is loaded. If you withdraw your consent during a visit, both tools are told to stop collecting straight away, and they are no longer loaded on the next visit. Refusing is as easy as accepting: both answers carry the same visual weight, and a refusal is remembered just like an acceptance. The data collected may be transferred outside the European Union, notably to the United States (see the Privacy Policy, section 5).

The choice is kept for six months and then asked again. It can be changed at any time from the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: tools already loaded in the page switch to a refused state and are no longer loaded on later visits; cookies they have already set remain in your browser until they expire, and you can delete them in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent has no effect on access to the site or on purchased content.

Course videos are streamed by Loom. In the member area, opening a lesson that contains a Loom video loads the Loom player in the page, even before playback; Loom may then set its own cookies, subject to its privacy policy. Some English dubbed videos are instead played by the browser’s own video player, from the site’s storage, without a third-party player.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signing in to the member area.
